| Introduction | These Promotion Code Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the use of promotion codes issued by Petsy Pet Insurance (“Petsy”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) that offer discounts on Petsy Pet Insurance premiums. These Terms apply to all promotion codes that Petsy authorises and accepts on the Petsy Quote Tool and partnership and affiliate quote tools approved by Petsy. This includes promotion codes distributed directly by Petsy or through authorised Petsy channels, including Breeders, Veterinary Clinics, Rescue Organisations, Partners, Affiliates, Member Benefits Programs, and Organisations participating in the Petsy Corporate Benefits Program for Employees. By using a promotion code, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as Petsy’s Product Disclosure Statement and Financial Services Guide. | |
| Definitions | Promotion Code: A unique code issued or authorised by Petsy that provides a discount or benefit on a Petsy Pet Insurance policy. Exclusive Promotion: A promotion that is limited to a specific distribution channel (for example, the Costco Shop Card offer) and cannot be combined with other Petsy promotions, discounts, or incentives. Authorised Channel: Any Petsy-approved distribution channel, including the Petsy Quote Tool, Breeders, Veterinary Clinics, Rescue Organisations, Partners, Affiliates, Member Benefits Programs, and Organisations participating in the Petsy Corporate Benefits Program for Employees. | |
| Eligibility | Promotion codes may only be applied when purchasing a new Petsy Pet Insurance policy through authorised channels. Promotion codes cannot be applied retrospectively to existing policies or in conjunction with any other promotional offer, unless otherwise specified. Only one policy may be purchased per pet. If a multipet discount is to be applied, any other promotion code used for that policy must be surrendered and cannot be combined. | |
| Promotion Code Conditions | Each promotion code is subject to specific conditions, including discount amount, validity dates, and eligibility criteria. Only one promotion code or promotional offer may be applied per policy. Certain promotions, such as the Petsy x Costco Shop Card offer, are exclusive and cannot be combined with other promotions. If more than one promotion is applied in error, Petsy reserves the right to decide which promotion will apply and may remove any others. | |
| Priority Rule | Certain promotional offers, such as the Petsy x Costco Shop Card promotion, may be exclusive to a specific distribution channel and cannot be combined with any other promotional offer, discount code, or pricing incentive. If you choose to redeem an exclusive promotion, you will not be eligible to apply any other Petsy promotion code or offer to the same policy. | |
| Exclusions and Limitations | Promotion codes do not apply to policy renewals, adjustments, or add-on options; excess payments, claim amounts, or fees; or policies, breeds, or age groups that Petsy may exclude from time to time. | |
| Duration and Automatic Expiry | All promotion codes expire at 11:59pm AEST on the date specified, unless withdrawn earlier. Expired codes will not be honoured. | |
| Combination with Other Benefits | Promotion codes cannot be used with multipet discounts, referral rewards, loyalty bonuses, member benefits or employee programs, or Shop Card/gift card promotions (including Costco). If a distribution channel offers an exclusive promotion, only one promotion code can be applied. The exclusive promotion code will be surrendered if the policyholder chooses instead to redeem a multi-pet discount (if offered). | |
| Refunds, Cancellations, and Cooling-Off | If a policy purchased with a promotion code is cancelled within the cooling-off period or does not remain active for at least 90 days (or specific qualifying period), the discount or benefit will be forfeited. Petsy may claw back or cancel any redeemed value. | |
| One-Time Use and Non-Transferability | Promotion codes are single use unless otherwise stated, non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and must not be resold or shared in unauthorised channels. | |
| Partner Responsibility Disclaimer | Petsy is not responsible for errors, omissions, or technical issues caused by third parties distributing promotion codes, including affiliates, partners, or resellers. | |
| Petsy’s Right to Modify or Withdraw | Petsy may modify or cancel any promotion code, deactivate codes without notice, refuse application if misuse is suspected, or end promotional offers without notice. | |
| No Guarantee of Acceptance | Use of a promotion code does not guarantee acceptance. Petsy may decline to apply a code if it is expired, ineligible, incorrectly applied, or no longer active. | |
| Consumer Law Disclaimer | Nothing in these Terms excludes or modifies rights under the Australian Consumer Law. | |
| Privacy and Data Use | By using a promotion code, you consent to Petsy handling your personal information in line with its Privacy Policy. | |
| Misuse and Fraud Prevention | Petsy may investigate and take action in cases of suspected misuse or fraud, including cancelling discounts, suspending or terminating policies, or reporting to authorities. | |
| Errors and Omissions | Petsy is not responsible for typographical mistakes, errors, or technical malfunctions that may affect code availability or application. | |
| Interpretation | Petsy reserves the sole right to interpret and apply these Terms in line with its business and compliance objectives. | |
| Governing Law | These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts. | |
| Conflict Between Terms | If these Terms conflict with specific campaign terms (e.g., Costco Shop Card), the campaign-specific terms will prevail. They apply in addition to these Terms and must be read together. | |
| Severability | If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. | |
| Communication of Changes | Petsy will make updated Terms available on its website. Continued use of promotion codes after publication constitutes acceptance of amended Terms. | |
