Rita Ng

Rita Ng is a fourth year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Sydney, with a particular interest in small animal internal medicine and ultrasound diagnostics. Her clinical rotations have taken her across Sydney and Melbourne’s leading veterinary hospitals, including emergency and specialist referral centres, as well as international experience at a high caseload clinic in Hong Kong. Beyond small animal practice, Rita has also gained experience in equine and livestock medicine, reflecting her broad clinical curiosity. She currently serves as Treasurer for the USYD Student Chapter of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM), and previously contributed to Petsy Pet Insurance, where she wrote educational content and supported the insurance claims process. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Rita brings a thoughtful, detail oriented approach to both clinical care and client communication.
