Gerald Lim

Gerald Lim is a 4th year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Sydney, with clinical placement experience spanning general practice, 24/7 emergency and specialist hospitals, and rehabilitation care. He’s confident performing orthopedic surgeries such as TPLOs and MPLs, conducting advanced imaging including radiographs and abdominal ultrasounds, and monitoring anaesthesia for surgical patients. During his placement with Petsy Pet Insurance, Gerald combined his clinical knowledge with his communication skills, writing articles on small animal diseases for a casual audience and liaising with veterinary clinics on partnership programs. He also designed and built his own personal website during this time. Gerald speaks native English and conversational Mandarin, and brings a fast learning, detail oriented approach to everything he does, whether in the clinic or behind the keyboard.
